Nate Steinwascher is a Senior Analyst at Accurity Group in Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Steinwascher’s practice encompasses all areas of litigation support, forensic accounting and business valuation services. Mr. Steinwascher has extensive experience providing fact-finding, discovery assistance, financial statement accounting, and economic damages computations across a variety of state and federal courts and alternative dispute venues.
Prior to joining Accurity Group, Mr. Steinwascher spent a combined 9 years in various roles within public accounting in audit, business transaction services, and corporate taxation.
During his time as a Manager with Lotito & Lazzara, P.C., Mr. Steinwascher managed various audit projects for companies within the manufacturing, franchise, and non-profit industries. In parallel, he provided guidance on newly issued Financial Accounting Standards Board Topics 842 and 605 related to Leases and Revenue from Contracts and taxation advisory services for companies within the manufacturing and professional services industries.
In addition, Mr. Steinwascher served as a Senior Analyst in the Transaction Advisory Services group at Plante Moran PLLC, during which he collaborated with various private equity clients and assisted with corporate mergers and acquisitions, including preparation of quality of earnings for clients across a variety of industries.
Previous to his role in Transaction Advisory Services, Mr. Steinwascher was a member of the mid-market assurance at Plante Moran, providing audit services for clients utilizing Statutory Accounting Principles, as well as for commercial real estate, franchise, and non-profit clients.
Mr. Steinwascher holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy and is a Certified Public Accountant.
